LOL! I guess you'd have had to be here on a regular basis for the

The more obnoxious regulars of this NG, who align themselves in the
Stathead camp claim that hitting and pitching are exactly equal in
terms of importance in winning a pennant and especially a short series
(best of seven) in the post-season games.
Well, that's not entirely true....they say luck has a tremendous
influence on who will win a short series...the dumb bastards. heh-
heh.
We Dugout Boyz understand that pitching and defense are much more
important than a lineup of sluggers.
