Correct.  Pitching is the key to success.   For years the O's couldn't 
produce a pitcher that could throw above the mid 80's.  They are finally 
getting some arms and hopefully they will develop into guys who can pitch.

Develop pitchers and stockpile them!!!!  You can always sign bats in free 
agency.  A good farm system also teaches fundamental defense.
