well, the Cabrera and Willis to Detroit for their triple A team makes for
some interesting speculation:
Will the Angels try to snag Tejada, now that Cabrera is off the market?
Is the Tiger's lineup now among the scariest in the majors, with Cabrera,
Ordonez, IRod, Sheffield, Granderson, Renteria and polanco? They will
score some runs ...
What's Bedard worth? Accordig to ESPN, the O's have been asking for a
Santana-like deal. No one is lining up to give the O's 3 grade-A players
for
him... however, if Santana goes to Boston, will the Yanks try to maintain
parity with a Bedard deal? And with Detroit getting massively better in
the short run, will other rich kids try to snag a quality pitcher to keep
up with the really big kids in boston, NY, and now Detroit?? Or is he
about
to become a Met?? Will he be joined there by Brian Roberts, where he would
be
an upgrade over Castillo?
Will we even recognize the O's starting lineup next April???
