Geez, Lester was just getting warmed up. Pitch counts are the ruination
of baseball and cost teams 10-15 wins a year, especially when your
bullpen sux.
On alot of days, the sox strategy is to keep bringing guys in until you
find one that completely sux, which is usually about everyone right now.
I would rather see 6 starters be used and each have an extra days rest
than be put on stupid pitch counts. Let them throw 120 pitches and give
them an extra day off. It sure as hell beats watching Hansen, Timlin,
DelC, etc throw batting practice every game.
