More that's the fault of FOX !!!

I know that this is an old complaint of mine and some will say that it's
the price we pay for the popularity of the Red Sox but it's still what
it is.  And I'm assuming here but it's the only thing that makes sense.
My assumption is that the reason the rained out game is at 8:30 instead
some sort of change that would allow a more traditional day/night double
header scheduling (I know that traditional and day/night DH don't really
go together.) is that FOX is unwilling to change their plans either game
time wise or actual team aired wise.   And if it's a contractual thing
then why didn't MLB get some better arrangement into the contract?  For
one thing this isn't the only game they're covering today is it?  And I
know there's time change issues for those going to the 4:00 game but
would a lot of people really be locked out of a game if it were moved to
earlier in the day on a Saturday?   Anyway, I'm not really complaining,
just ruminating on possible better alternatives.
