Of course Rose would have made more outs than anyone; he had the most hits
& 
he's the all-time leader in at-bats, so naturally he would make the most 
outs.  Just like Cy Young, who has more wins than anyone, also has more 
losses than anyone.

One other thing about Cy Young; he pitched more than 700 complete games. 
The bullpen certainly got a rest when he took the mound.
