What REALLY happened to these guys?

Danny Graves?
Paul Wilson?
Look at Gagne yesterday? I know about the surgeries on he and Wilson, but 
Gagne looked beaten. I almost felt sorry for him, but I'm glad we won. So 
many of these pitchers fall from grace and can't recover. Then, there's
guys 
like Smoltz, et al that are still respectable.

How about steroids? Just curious on your thoughts. How many other guys
were 
great and couldn't come back. I'm talking pitchers mostly... To me Graves 
looked to be a classic steroid thing. He's pitching 96 one year, then 
released the next?

Even Bret Boone was said to have been doing them, then he's gone (now he's

trying to come back)?

If Clemens was doing them, then a LOT of those guys were doing them, IMO.

I'd just like to see you guys discuss this.
