By batting order position:
R RBI
1. .246/.320/.430 15 14
2. .287/.314/.383 14 11
3. .243/.328/.402 14 16
4. .264/.331/.472 15 13
5. .256/.404/.400 14 10
6. .260/.351/.448 13 15
7. .330/.352/.592 19 19
8. .305/.377/.474 9 11
9. .138/.211/.230 7 4
None of the top three spots is pretty. (Although many teams are worse
at any given spot)
The number 5 spot is weird.
Number 7 is of course mostly Votto and a) he probably won't stay
at this level and b) won't bat 7th
And if there's one thing Paul Bako has established it's that
his current stats aren't an ability. Mind you, Griffey would be
disappointed with those numbers and Bako would sign for the
numbers Griffey has put up, so the combination of the two
leaves room for more despite Bako having the hot streak of his
career.
