Meanwhile, Volquez is putting up similar numbers in pitching
categories.
1.23 ERA (4 earned runs in five starts), 4-0 record, 33 Ks, opponents
batting .198 off him. That's lights out.
They'll both be in the All-Star game at this rate. The Reds needed
pitching more than they needed an outfielder. It was a smart trade,
and it's nice for Texas that it's working out for them, too. Nothing
wrong with that at all.
