Personally, I like him better than any manager we've had since McKeon.
Then
again, he is the only manager since McKeon we've paid a real salary to.
I like the way he has handled the pitching rotation - he is much more
willing than previous managers to move the ace up when there is an off
day.
That REALLY pisses me off when managers insist on giving everybody a turn
(as if this is kindergarten). I also think he (or Dick Pole?) does a
decent
job handling the releivers.
As for the line-ups, I don't HATE them, except he has too much Patterson
for
me.
I also like the way he handles the media. I never read any quotes from
him
that make me do a double take, or think he's an idiot.
Again. Maybe this is just a matter of having been stuck with sub-par
managers the past few years.
