What does everything think about the team possibly signing Kendall? I don't
think it's a good idea. He's well past his prime has zero power, mediocore
speed, and absolutely horrible (even worse than Estrada!) at throwing
runners out!
I would like to see Mike Rivera given a chance along with Miller as a
backup. Rivera knows the young arms well from playing in the minors with
them. He's shown pop and average if not improving behind the backstop. I
can
just see it years from now Rivera winning a gold glove and going to all
star
games like Mike Matheny who we also let go!
For a team having an ex-catcher at the helm in Yost he sure can't judge
them
when he sees them...case in point last year with Estrada's 1 pitch and out
at bats!
