What does everybody think? I think it's good that he's gone..sure he was
lights out at home but he struggled on the road and always put base
runners
on like Bob Wickman. It's nice to have a dominant closer that's 100%
lights
out..but Cordero was not that good. To me, the Reds overpaid and are stuck
with a 4 year deal for the billions or however much they dished out.
Mcclung, Turnbow (I can already feel 10000 heart attacks hitting me if
he's
closing again), or somebody else can step in easily.
Whoever enters into the roll will be an allstar as the closer spot is
overrated in my opinion. Look at the past few years...Wickman, Dejean,
Turnbow, Dan Kolb..all stars as a closer now they are just setup men
looking
for work every year. Thus, I'm glad we didn't overspend on a needless
position when Cordero wasn't even that good anyways!1
Well, go packers for now..is it April yet? with this writers going on late
night TV is just so damn boring without daily show, colbert re****t, brewer
baseball to depend on!!!1
