The Twins offense has scored two runs in the past two games against
some pretty pathetic pitchers. You'd think it was Walter Johnson and
Christy Mathewson on the hill for the A's.
Continuing a trend from last year, going through spring training, and
now 22 games into this season the Twins' offense simply cannot score
any runs. The Twins are second to last in the AL in run scored. They
have hit 11 HRs on the year, good for second to last in the AL. Their
SLG% is .355 second to last in the AL and .052 points less than
average.
They suck.
