I think Willie has some of the blame, but I think the roster is poorly
constructed. I think Omar is way too in love with veterans and tools
guys. I have no problem keeping Damien Easley OR Marlon Anderson.
Why take both? How about Endy Chavez OR Angel Pagan? Again, why
both? This team screamed for a corner guy who could hit for some
power who could play if Alou or Delgado went down. Omar responds by
getting Pagan, who is a duplicate of Chavez. Lack of depth is a big
problem on this team because there are no options for Willie at all.
When Delgado struggles, who plays? When Castillo struggles, who
plays? When LF is a black hole, who plays?

I'm not disagreeing with you -- remember, Fernando Tatis is just what the
doctor ordered! -- but I'm past working off the premise that Player A is
struggling. I want to know _why_ Player A is struggling.
