If they lose 3 out of 4 to Wa****ngton, leading to a sub-500 homestand
against BAD teams, and then go on to lose 2 games to the Yankees, then
it's time.
I can no longer stand to watch this team play with no fire, no sense
of urgency, no enthusiasm, seemingly not caring if they win or lose.
I'm sure in the minds of the player this is not the case, but clearly
something is missing with this team. There was magic in 2005, it's
completely eva****ated now. There is no chemistry, no joy, no anything.
This team is just boring and frustrating to watch.
It's time for a change. Now. Don't wait any longer or this season is
over. Willie and his entire coaching staff must go. Bring in Lee
Mazilli and hire Leo Mazzone as the pitching coach. Clean house.
Now, let's see the Mets turn this around, win today, and win the
series against the Yankees. Anything short of this and it's time for a
change. They are going to lose all their fans before they have a
chance to stick their fannies in the brand new stadium.
