Sunday's game Burrell made a beautiful back hand basket catch, running at
top speed (for him) and with his right arm protecting himself from the
foul
ball
Howard would make an excellent #5 hitter behind backup cleaner Burrell.
If Burrell keeps going like this he has a slight shot at MVP. I would like
to see Burrell have the best year of his career.
If Utley's glove work continues like this he could hit .444 and not
make
MVP. But when Utley first came up he was thought of being good hit bad
glove. It also can be Bruntlett's throw was not like a Rollins throw and
that may have made Utley throw off balance. These guys better communicate,
but I guess JRoll will be coming back Tuesday. Hopefully the entire Phils
infield will have got all their sloppiness out of their system.
