"The Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Major League Baseball's worst team last season,
has changed its team name and colors. An American League expansion team in
1998 the Devil Rays have never broken .500 for the season during their
10-year history, and will now be known as the Tampa Bay Rays. The team
also
changed its logo. The new team colors will be a mix of navy and light
blue.
The previous colors were green and white. The team was previously
nicknamed
after a stingray."
Tampa Bay has NEVER broken .500 in the history of the franchise? Changing
names and colors won't help though. So what are they now, rays of light or
something instead of stingrays?
....At least the Bucs have some history of success. Maybe that makes it
seem
worse, but all things considered, I rather be a Pirate fan any day.
Free agents, anyone?
