Joe Tutino and Coach John Kentera today reported on their
afternoon talk show that Jake Peavy and the Friars are close
to an Extension that will keep him here through 2012.
Because the ' Mighty 1090 ' is the Padres flagship station,
they usually get reliable info from the Front Office.
Both hosts praised Jake's agent, Barry Axelrod, for the high
level of the negotiations.
