This whole Mitchell Report is bullshit. There are wild accusations
made, with little or no actual evidence to back them up. Example:
Brian Roberts is named, because some clubhouse attendant said he
remembers Brian Roberts asking him about a particular supplement.
That's it. It does not say Brian ever used, or even acquired them,
much less provide any solid evidence of it. I don't know what they
hoped to accomplish by releasing these players names like this.
Lawsuits perhaps? It shows how stupid Bud Selig really is. He should
resign as commissioner for this. Resign becase he looked the other way
while all this steroid abuse made MLB money. Resign because he was
never able to get the necesary drug testing that every other sport
has. Yeah, the players union was the main reason drug test was never
properly implemented. Bottom line? Steroid use was quietly accepted by
Bud Selig. And now he wants to throw players under the bus with little
or no real evidence. I hope like hell Selig and MLB gets sued. The
players on this list certainy have the financial means to start a
lawsuit. It would not surprise me of the next labor dispute and/or
strike, are the result of releasing these players names. When was the
last time MLB won a dispute with the players union? This thing is not
going to die quietly. And Major League Baseball will deserve anything
that happens to it as a result of the Mitchell Report.
