I don't remember Lane Field or Westgate Park. I was 9 years old when
Padres were born. Lived up the hill from the main gate of San Diego
Stadium. Before the stadium was built, there was a cornfield (I think)
there. Friars Rd was 1 lane each direction and when you drove down
Mission Village Dr, you came to stop sign, looked right, left, and off
to town!!!
