It gets worse. The woman who lost her life (Fredia Veitch) is the
mother of two children, ages 5 and 13.
The crash caused her car to flip, and she was ejected. She was
returning home from her waitress job, per the Miami Herald. They
add:
"He (Leyritz) failed several field-sobriety exercises,
including walking and turning and touching his
finger to his nose, accoring to an arrest report.
He refused a Breathalyzer test, police said"
He was driving a Ford Expedition, and ran a red light, per the cops,
smashing into Fredia Veitch's small Montero.
If this case EVER gets to a Jury, he will get the maximum penalty
they can possibly give him.
