Each of the nine spots in the Padre batting order scores exactly one run

fielder Gene Richards and first baseman Willie Montanez, who have two
each,
and right fielder Dave Winfield, who has none. Catcher Gene Tenace and
starting pitcher Rick Wise have two RBI apiece. Wise and reliever Steve
Mura each have a double, and Tenace has a solo home run.
Wise (1-0) pitches five innings and Mura four (first save of the season),
scattering ten Dodger hits, striking out two, and walking three.
Center fielder Rudy Law leads the Dodger effort, going four for five, with
two runs and a triple. Starter Rick Sutcliffe (0-1) lasts only two
innings,
giving up five hits, six runs, and four walks.
