Interesting distortion of language but no matter,
your consideration does not make it so.

Since Moores won't pony up for a team that is really good anywhere,
let alone everywhere, you're right. Boasting of a Padres team that
can win at home rings hollow.

More specifically, I'm gonna build a team for the one park where they
play 80+ games and take my chances in every other unique park where
they will play at most, 9 games in any one.

Far better chance than being good in a fraction of the road parks
which
even if they can make it too 50% amounts to only 1/4 of their games
while being downright bad in the park they play half their games.

Obviously you can't suck half the time to have any chance.
Even when you don't suck you won't win 'em all or even
lose 'em all when you do suck. In the west at times it is
a game of relative suckitude. That said, sucking at home
will be deadly. The idea that a team is ill equipped athletically
to play in any of the many road parks while capable at Petco
 is simply incomprehensible to me.
I'd suspect Moores opted for a bus to travel that year
as better odds than a team that was flawed in a way that
affected every road game.

Yeah...ok...let me think...yes it matters....to our chances
which remain few and far between.

As a fan I can do exactly that. When they start giving champion****p
trophies and banners and rings for wins/payroll dollar you let me
know.
