singles in Wiggins and second baseman Juan Bonilla, and catcher Terry
Kennedy caps the scoring with a single to drive in Garvey.
Starter Eric Show (3-1) limits the Cubs to 3 singles and 1 run in 6
innings,
and reliever Luis DeLeon gets his 3rd save with 3 strikeouts in 3 innings.
Third baseman Ron Cey is Chicago's hitting leader with 2 singles and 1
RBI.
Starting pitcher Steve Trout (1-4) takes the loss after pitching 5-2/3
innings, giving up 4 Padre hits and all 3 runs.
