Exactly. We don't hear other teams making excuses for the Padres, like
1090 does. We have some serious holes on the roster. Plain and simple.
To blame it on anything other than questionable roster moves is a
joke. It's also an insult to the fan base. Do they think we believe
this crap?

If Headley can play left, bring him up. Some in the local sports media
(1090) seem to think that bringing him up now, in the Pads current
slide, would be bad for him somehow. Might develop a losing attitude
(again, heard on 1090).That, of course, is CRAP!!! If the guy can play
left better than McAnulty, pull the trigger and let him start getting
used to major league pitching. Gerut can play center better then
Edmonds, so thats a no brainer. That's 2 out of three outfield spots.
