An astute observation !
I immediately flashed on Bill James' description of how the KC Royals
chose outfielders for their home park, which also has large gaps, and
artificial turf to boot.
Amos Otis was the classic Royals outfielder... cover the ground, hit
line drives and run like hell.
That T. Gwynn guy in Milwaukee might work out pretty well here.
