 Trader Jack usually traded away more than he got back.

 The Padres don't have anyone to trade that wouldn't gut an im****tant
part of the team.
We don't have any big players to trade except for Gonzalez and Peavy
(and maybe Bell and Young).

  There is no quick solution to this. We need the management to invest
in prospects.
