But your analysis is dead wrong.
-----
Roger Clemens 4.00 vs. Miguel Batista 4.13: Again its Roger Clemens vs.
Miguel Batista, it's a no brainer.
-----
It would have been a no brainer last year or any season before last
year, but this year it's a push.
-----
Philip Hughes 4.64 vs. Horacio Ramirez 7.12: One of the top prospects in
all of baseball vs. a 7.12 ERA, big advantage Yankees.
-----
Who cares if Hughes is top prospect? The question is: who is better
_now_. Ramirez is terrible. Hughes? The sample is too small. He has two
very good road games and two terrible home games. Interesting thing:
Ramirez, after first two games was looking just the same. He was 2-1.
In two seasons Hughes will be much better than Ramirez, that for sure,
but this year? And we are talking about 5th starter here, so it doesn't
matter that much.
So your conclusion:
So if the Yanks have a large advantage in the rotation in 3 of the 5 spots
is as wrong as it could be. For me it's a push with bigger upside for
Yankees (Hughes is the X factor).
