The Rose Award goes to Placido Polanco of the Detroit Tigers, who went
three-for-four with four RBI and scored two runs in a 12-6 win over
the Seattle Mariners.

The Tigers' Brandon Inge hit a tiebreaking homer in the sixth inning,
and Ivan Rodriguez went four-for-five with a homer in the eighth.
