Well I really know why because he is a blithering idiot when it comes
to being an owner.But that being said the Rangers at this point in
time do not need a 140 mil player.They are not gonna contend in the
next couple of years so why not stock up the minors and sign some of
the youngsters to long term deals (see Cleveland Indians several years
ago).I think they did the right thing by trading Tex but I still think
that Hicks would have loved to have thrown 140 mil at him.What a
moron....
