The Rose Award goes to Frank Thomas of the Toronto Blue Jays, who went
two-for-four with four RBI and scored two runs in a 9-5 win over the
Texas Rangers.
Thomas homered for the first time in eight games, and ended the Blue
Jays' 66-inning homerless streak.
