The Rose Award goes to Sammy Sosa of the Texas Rangers, who went three-
for-five with four RBI and scored two runs in a 12-9 win over the
Oakland Athletics.
Sosa hit a three-run homer to cap an eight-run second inning as the
Rangers completed a three-game sweep.
