I am in a new 10-team fantasy baseball league that needs owners.
You don't have to be in my region (Philly/Central NJ), though that
wouldn't hurt.
The scoring is handled by ESPN's Web site.
It costs $25 to enter -- not too serious. The payout for first place
is $175.
Your roster size would be 22 players.
No keepers.
Unlimited trades, though trades can be voided by a three-owner vote.
The draft pool is the entire major leagues.
The stats are 8x8 roto:
Hits (H)
Batting Average (AVG)
Doubles (2B)
Home Runs (HR)
Walks (BB)
Runs Scored (R)
Runs Batted In (RBI)
Stolen Bases (SB)
on offense, and
Walks plus Hits Per Innings Pitched (WHIP)
Home Runs Allowed (HRA)
Earned Run Average (ERA)
Strikeouts (K)
Wins (W)
Losses (L)
Saves (SV)
Complete Games (CG)
for pitchers. (I assume "losses" is a category you want to have
*lowest*. Never worked with that before. LOL)
The draft is Friday so your response is time-critical. Get back to me
and I will have the Commish get in touch.
